Welcome!
Adulthood, particularly between 30 and 60, is a time of profound reckoning. It’s the territory where the life you’ve built meets the person you are still becoming. The pressures of work, family, and health can feel immense, and the old maps don't always point the way forward.
My own journey through six decades has taught me that the most profound wisdom comes from navigating this terrain, not from avoiding it. My role is to provide a steady, experienced hand to support you as you find your own path through.
True, lasting change doesn't come from 'fixing' what is broken, but from building on the strength and integrity you already possess. This work is a partnership, grounded in a few core beliefs:
We Look at the Whole Person. Your thoughts, your physical feelings, and your sense of purpose are all part of the same story. We won't simply address a symptom; we will listen to what your entire system is telling us.
A Foundation of Unwavering Respect. This is a confidential, non-judgmental space where all parts of your story are welcome. My commitment is to meet you with deep empathy and understanding for your unique experience.
You Are the Expert on Your Life. You hold the wisdom. I serve as a guide, offering perspective, tools, and a steadfast presence, but the path we walk is always yours. 2 Your right to define your experience is paramount.
We Build on Your Inherent Strength. Challenges are real, but so is your resilience. We will actively work to honour the skills and knowledge you've gained through your life's hardships, using them as the foundation for your next chapter.
This compassionate approach is built upon decades of professional experience and rigorous training.
Professional Experience
I have been in practice for 30 years, with a background that includes individual and group therapy, palliative care, grief counselling, trauma-informed therapy, and community mental health. This has given me a deep capacity to support individuals through intense suffering, grief, and the unique pressures faced by caregivers and helping professionals.

My comfort in navigating profound questions of life, loss, and meaning is not just academic. It is informed by my own lived experiences, including a Near-Death Experience (NDE) that deepened my understanding of the spiritual dimensions of our lives. This personal journey allows me to sit with you in yours, without judgment and with a genuine understanding of the courage it takes to heal.
